To promote and strengthen networks and prop up solidarity among individuals and organisations working towards empowerment of women and gender equality.

NDF

The dalits are forced to remain as manual scavengers, Jogins, bonded labourers, agricultural labourers etc. The children are also forced to become child labour NDF is a collective response to overcome these problems.

Bodhi Programme

BODHI makes a serious effort to help the humiliated castes to overcome the negative self-condemnatory attitudes within themselves. This Centre locates the Dalitbahujan writings, encourages new writings to be taken up and all such writings will be popularized among masses.

Minority Programme

CWS Minorities Program is working through NGOs for mainstreaming the development of Muslim minority. It supports Muslim women in A.P., Bihar and Jharkahnd into self-help groups, identify needs in specific areas and support them to access government schemes.

Adivasi Initiatives

Working in Orissa and Jharkhand, the project tries to understand support initiatives like forest conservation and address the issue of displacement. Polavaram dam on Godavari river in A.P. is an issue taken up by the project.

To improve the quality of life in rural communities by emphasizing environmentally safe and sustainable methods that would enhance the quantity and quality of crop yields in the agricultural production systemn.

Work on Forestry

To establish Regional Resource Centres, strengthen the 'Vanasamakhya' and ally with Government Forest Departments for sustainable forest management, with a special thrust on developing livelihood security of the marginalized sections among the forest-dwelling communities.
